Lotek

Philip Virgo, a San Diego resident for the last fifteen years or so, specializes in interactive video gagdets for intertainment and is a accomplished desktop animator and intermediate programmer. His company, LoTek(tm), is setting up to provide low-cost virtual reality systems, and desktop 3-D telepresence for the new consumer VR market.

"LoTek(tm) is oriented toward application of desktop consumer and so-called obsolete technologies in the fields of fine arts and entertainment. There are so many technologies in music, video, and the arts, that were breezed by and forgotten in the eighties, that were never significantly applied because the market trends never significantly applied because the market trends always tend to go off to the next 'state-of-the-art' or 'cutting edge' upgrade."

"Lotek(tm) makes it it's business to discover and apply these forgotten mediums to the fine arts and entertainment and so far has had great success, using what inevitable becomes the artists main resource, the cast-off artifacts of culture."
