ART IN MOTION
Tony Melendez, The RAD HATTER says, "Don't just toss it!!"
A creative recycling workshop for kids of all ages.

WHY DO WE DO IT?
To encourage recycling by educating students and their families to view discarded materials in new and creative ways. Our goal is to stimulate concern and offer a solution regarding the waste of precious resources. Our slide show art as a medium for conservational awareness demonstrates our process. Our ecologist, Debbie Kinsinger, leads activity oriented naturalist field trips for children and adults who want to learn more about the environment and conservation.

HOW DO WE DO IT?
In our two hour playshop, you will learn how to mold our "RAD HATS" from paper grocery bags. With a little paint and other "found" item decorations your wearable art can be the hit of a birthday party, picnic, or political function.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH IT?
Art In Motion will provide paint, paint smocks, brushes, glue, scissors, interesting decorations from industry and nature, ground clothes and paper bags. We encourage participants to bring additional reused bags and any creative materials available.
