FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Secret Secret plans debut Graphic Music CD-ROM.

San Francisco's eminent global-electro-pop band, Secret Secret, is currently completing production on The Dreaming, its first Audio CD/CD-ROM product. The Dreaming is a Graphic/Music CD.

Written and directed by the band's founder and main songwriter, Rob, The Dreaming will include five brand new songs with a full-length video for each, plus an interactive graphic adventure and a band profile.

"When deciding to do The Dreaming we knew that there would be much to learn, " Rob said in an interview, "We felt it would be challenging and rewarding."

"Secret Secret is a technology-oriented band," Rob said, "We are excited that the technology to create The Dreaming is finally here. This is the kind of innovation that will set us apart from other groups."

The track listing is as follows:
1. Car 17
2. People Go Out
3. Casa
4. Nichiyobi
5. Wish

Songs

Car 17 follows a long tradition of car songs, including, of course, the Gary Numan hit. This song also pays homage to one of Techno Pop's greatest innovators, Daniel Miller.

People Go Out is the leading single, with its infectious house beat, French vocals and spoken-word story of the hassle a girl goes through just to go out.

Casa showcases the video artistry on the CD-ROM, using graphics and sound to create an atmosphere of magic and surrealism against the backdrop of a house, as a metaphor of the fantasies people get caught up in, often without realizing it.

Nichiyobi which translates into "Sunday", is about a girl who would rather play Pong, Atari's original video game, on Sunday night then anything else. Taiko's ethereal female vocals serenade on the catchy Japanese chorus.

Secret Secret uses Japanese, Spanish, French and English lyrics to emphasize the universal aspect of their music. "We're writing songs about life and its situations," Rob said. "We put an international twist to the songs because we want to reach other cultures too."

The CD ends on a solemn note, with Wish, a song of heartbreak and remorse. "We wanted to include a song that spoke to the soul," Rob said. "And Wish was just the song to complete The Dreaming."
